Where You Can Watch Fireworks Around Springfield, Republic, Nixa, and the Ozarks

We’ve gathered everything still happening in Springfield, Nixa, Ozark, Republic, and nearby areas so you can plan your holiday weekend with ease. Springfield Fireworks Events

Springfield Cardinals Post-Game Fireworks – Hammons Field


Date: Thursday, July 3
Location: Hammons Field – 955 E. Trafficway St., Springfield
Time: Gates open at 5:05 PM | Game at 6:05 PM | Fireworks after the game

Celebrate early with the Springfield Cardinals' Independence Day game, followed by a post-game fireworks display you can watch from the field. Stick around afterward for a concert featuring Isaac Kenneth. Family-friendly and always a local favorite.


Star-Spangled Springfield – Downtown Fireworks


Date: Friday, July 4
Location: Riverfront Park (Memorial Bridge), Springfield
Time: Fireworks begin around 9:30 PM

Springfield’s official Fourth of July celebration includes food trucks, music, and a major fireworks show over the Memorial Bridge. Parking fills up early, so arrive ahead of time to secure your spot near Jordan Valley Park or Hammons Field.


Nixa, Ozark & Republic Fireworks

Nixa: Consumer Fireworks Permitted


Date: July 3–5
Time: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM daily
Location: City-wide (as allowed by ordinance)

While Nixa does not host an organized fireworks show this year, residents are allowed to enjoy their own consumer fireworks within city limits on July 3, 4, and 5. Be sure to follow local safety laws and watch for updates on weather-related burn bans.


Ozark & Republic


No remaining public fireworks shows are scheduled in Ozark or Republic. Previous events, including Fireworks on the Finley and Republic’s Have-A-Blast, were held in June.

Branson Landing Liberty Light Up


Date: Thursday, July 3
Location: Branson Landing, Lake Taneycomo
Time: Music begins at 5:30 PM | Fireworks around 9:20 PM

Live performances from Damsel and The Dirty Saints, plus a beer garden and a fully choreographed fireworks display over the water. A great option if you're looking for music and a lively crowd the night before the Fourth.


Hollister’s 72nd Annual Fireworks Celebration


Date: Friday, July 4
Location: Chad A. Fuqua Memorial Park, Hollister
Time: Fireworks at approximately 9:00 PM

A long-standing local tradition in a more relaxed, small-town setting. Enjoy music, food, and family fun before the show begins. Arrive early to claim a good spot in the park.


Chateau on the Lake Fireworks Finale



Date: Sunday, July 6
Location: Chateau on the Lake Resort, Branson
Time: Fireworks at dusk
